Established in 1990, Acton Construction began as a traditional, competitive bid contractor. Over the years, we've witnessed how this approach can lead to frustration and result in decisions clients regret. For clients, the process of vetting potential contractors, trying to figure out exactly what is actually included in a bid is time consuming and, at best, somewhat of a gamble. And how, in that environment, can a client possibly evaluate options and manage their budget? The inadequacies of the competitive bid model led us to the Design Build model.
